As the region’s largest trade platform for the equine sector, the Dubai International Horse Fair brought together leading equestrian equipment companies, owners, breeders, stables, clubs, veterinarians, services and care products, all serving the needs of both professional and leisure riders, and wider horse enthusiasts.

The event provided a fun weekend outing for families and the general public, featuring pony racing by Al Dhabi, equestrian-themed art, unique displays by world-renowned trainer Miguel Duarte, live equestrian performances by Team Z7, the event’s annual Horse Auction for Arabian Purebred Horses, and performance by the Dubai Police canine patrol & equestrian team.

The Emirates Falconers Club also made their debut appearance at the Dubai International Horse Fair with a showcase of their unique breed of falcons, sharing expertise on the rich history of the Falcon and its special place in Emirati culture. Also joining the Fair for the first time was the Arabian Saluki Centre and some of their most prized Saluki hunting dogs.

Grant David Moon is one of the most acclaimed and well respected Farriers in the world. He has done clinical workshops all over the world for over twenty years. He will be conducting 2 Farrier Workshops on Shoeing in the normal zone followed by dissection locating the sites of lameness & shoeing on Friday 22 March from 2 – 2.30pm & 4 – 5.30pm
