The project “Wood Sculpture by Tunikov” has the mission of attracting attention to the fragile and insecure world of birds. Respect and admiration for the birds through any means is necessary. Especially with the help of art.

Animal sculpture is the way to go. Wooden sculpture is the focus of such a path, since it displays special
sensitivity and accuracy in relation to the subject of the image, the bird. A long (about one year) work additionally
demonstrates the author’s respect for nature, focuses the viewer on the uniqueness and fragility of the world
around us.

Gallery Wood Sculpture by Tunikov was founded in 2001, as a project in non-traditional frameworks. No
permanent exposure address. Exhibitions are held by exporting sculptures to various public art events and
educational events. So, sculptures have been present at internatioonal art sites since 2001.
